• W2553378056 abstract "Objective: The present study is aim to detect the expression of UC001kfo in breast cancer tissues and normal tissues, then clarify the association between the expression of UC001kfo and the clinicopathological parameters of breast cancer patients. Methods: Forty-seven cases of invasive ductal carcinoma tissues and sixteen cases of adjacent no-tumor tissues which were fomalin-fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) were collected. The expressions of UC001kfo in these tissues were detected by using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Simultaneously, the correlation between the expression of the lncRNAs and the clinicopathocogical features of patients was analyzed by statistical methods. Results: The expression level of UC001kfo in breast cancer tissues significantly decreased as compared to that in the adjacent non-tumor tissues (P<0.001), low UC001kfo was correlated with advanced clinical stage (r=−0.319, P=0.029). Conclusion: UC001kfo may be regarded as a tumor suppressor in breast cancer and become a diagnosis marker and potential therapeutic target for breast cancer.
