- W2557684582 abstract "This paper details the results of an ongoing project to create novel multi-level inverter technologies. In this work, a new six level three-phase inverter topology is proposed that has been successfully modeled and validated using Matlab. The new topology is based on a computing model that can pre-calculate switching angles and is to be able to directly connect to the network without the need for a filter between the topology and the application. The reason is that in this topology the number of input DC voltage sources, power electronic switches, pre-calculated switching angles, and the total harmonics distortion in the output voltage is reduced. Applications that could use this new topology include the dynamic hybrid battery/inverter and photovoltaic/inverter systems. These applications can improve the overall operation and performance of the system while at the same time improve the quality of the output voltage and ability to generate power." @default.
