- W2557756873 abstract "The channel utilization of telephonic voice communication is considered to be the most critical factor (being costlier and limited in the case of mobile communication) as it was realized to be utilized in the order of only 36%, the remaining 64% being wasted in a duplex channel. The myriad of methods for the enhancement of communication channel utilization in the wired communication have already been proposed and attempted. Since bandwidth is limited in wireless communication (specifically mobile communication), its optimum utilization becomes an emerging research area. DITMC (Data Interleaving Technique in Mobile Communication) seems to be the promising solution for the optimum use of costlier and limited bandwidth which may further lead to reduction in radiations generated by the mobile handset and enhance the talk time of the mobile handset. This research paper exhibits the comparison of DITMC in mobile communication with various channel utilization enhancement techniques proposed for wired digital speech communication. DITMC exhibits a significant channel utilization of 83.32% with data interpretation alone and may exceed 100% in the case of both speech and data taken together." @default.
