The future employees who are currently occupying college benches in higher education institutes (Gen Z) have dynamic mindsets and expectations. The rising army of white collar unemployed youth can be controlled by considering the changed opinion about their job motivators and addressing them. This paper aims to identify the motivating factors that generation Z seeks in a job. The work is an extension of a study by Montana and Petit (2008) which examined the factors that motivate generation X and Y and compared them with pre baby boomers and baby boomers generation. A descriptive research is carried out to identify the motivating factors of the youngest generation-Gen Z. Respondent were asked to rank top six motivators from a list of twenty four, previously used work motivation factors, based on the check list authored by Leslie E This and Gordon L Lippitt.
