In this paper, we make an experimental space elevator climber which can go up and down a rope tether. The climber is driven by two motors and can carry a heavy payload. It is defect that the revolving around the rope tether of the climber cannot be avoided during ascent and descent. Then, we also make an experimental gyro instrument and couple it to the climber. A stable ascent and descent of the climber is realized by synchronous control of the motors and attitude control using the gyroscopic effect." @default.
