It is found that cross-section effects of both $mathit{NN}$ elastic and inelastic scatterings affect ${ensuremath{Delta}}_{1232}$, $ensuremath{pi}{}^{ensuremath{-}}$ and $ensuremath{pi}{}^{+}$ production, as well as the value of $ensuremath{pi}{}^{ensuremath{-}}/ensuremath{pi}{}^{+}$." @default.
