• W2579358874 abstract "En este estudio, de naturaleza predominantemente cualitativa, se presentan los resultados y conclusiones acerca de la incorporacion de la perspectiva Ciencia, Tecnologia, Sociedad y Ambiente (CTSA) en los libros de texto de Ciencias de Educacion Primaria en Portugal y en Espana, antes de las ultimas reformas educativas ocurridas en los dos paises. Se analizaron doce libros de texto portugueses y doce libros de texto espanoles (5o y 6o curso) correspondientes a seis editoriales de cada pais. Los resultados muestran que la perspectiva CTSA se incorpora en los libros de texto de ambos paises en los niveles educativos estudiados, siendo mas relevante en los libros de texto portugueses. Sin embargo, aunque el enfoque CTSA esta presente en los libros estudiados, lo hace de forma insuficiente y no se explota su potencial. Ademas, la perspectiva CTSA no parece que se presente de manera evidente para profesores y alumnos. Finalmente se hacen algunas recomendaciones para las nuevas ediciones de libros de texto adaptados a los curriculos a partir de las ultimas reformas educativas.Palabras clave: Perspectiva CTSA; Libros de texto; Educacion Primaria; Alfabetizacion cientifica; Educacion cientifica comparada; Portugal y Espana.The Science-Technology-Society-Environment approach in textbooks of Primary Education: A comparative study between Portugal and Spain, before the last educational reforms This article presents a qualitative study about the integration of STSE (Science-Technology-Society-Environment) approach in the Portuguese and Spanish Science textbooks of Primary Education in Portugal and Spain, before the last educational reforms occurred in both countries. Twelve Portuguese textbooks and twelve Spanish textbooks (5th and 6th year) were analyzed. The results show that the STSE approach is incorporated, either in the Portuguese and Spanish textbooks, it is more relevant in the Portuguese textbooks, although weakly in both and not exploited in its potential. In addition, the STSE approach is not clearly presented for teachers and students.
