Methods: Totally 372 college students were surveyed with the Gratitude Questionnaire-6, Perceived social support scale and Optimism-Pessimism scale. Results: The gratitude scores positively correlated with the optimism score. Regression analysis indicated that gratitude and perceived social support have positively predictability of optimism. Gratitude still positively predicts optimism (β value decreased from 0.35 to 0.24, p <0. 01) on the basis that perceived social support is controlled. Conclusion: The result of the research indicates that perceived social support has a partial mediating effect between gratitude and optimism." @default.
