- W2590395084 abstract "Long-distance transfer of static and quasistatic magnetic fields via the superconductor-ferromagnet (SC-FM) heterostructure has been recently demonstrated to be efficient. However, its benefit for transferring magnetic fields at high-frequency regime (such as over 1 kHz) remains open. On the basis of our previous work, this study will extend the frequency of transferred magnetic fields to be 10 kHz. For this purpose, we additionally made a proof-of-principle demonstrator that uses high-frequency magnetic material to construct the SC-FM heterostructure. We tested the transfer capability of such SC-FM hybrid with different FM constituents and found that, in comparison with the naked magnetic core, the use of SC-FM hybrid can significantly improve the transfer performance of magnetic field at frequencies up to 10 kHz. In parallel, we developed a 2-D axisymmetric H-formulation finite-element model to help us understand the measured behavior of the magnetic hose at high frequency." @default.
