- W2592039278 abstract "This quasi experiment research aim at knowing the influence ofmathematic learning based on multiple intelligences toward thecharacter of student of teacher education of madrasa (PGMI)in the aspects of cooperation, responsibility, and creativity. The population of this research is the student of teachereducation of madrasa (PGMI) in UIN Sunan Kalijaga, andthe samples are the student of the department of the teachereducation of madrasa {PGMI) from the A class and B classwho are in the fourth semester from the grade of 2010andtheir numbers are 60 students. The data are collected throughthree techniques and those are questionnaire, interview, and the documentation of the mathematic learning based on themultiple intelligences. In this research, validation test is donewith validation test of point with item analysis. Based on thePearson Moment's correlation with the same coefficient ofcorrelation or more than 0,3, then the point of instrument isstated as valid. Whereas for ensuring its reliability, researcheruses the Cronbach's alpha formulation or Spearman Brown'stechniques of two splitting. The analysis of the data uses thecomparative test of two directions.Based of the data of questionnaire, the result of the research statesthat there is a positive influence from the mathematic learningbased on the multiple intelligences (multiple intelligences) inthree aspects of student's character: cooperation, responsibility, and creativity in the level of trustworthiness in 95%. Thepositive influences can be seen from: the cooperation betweenstudents in conducting an assignment, active participation, andthe existence of support. In the aspect of responsibility, it seemsthat there is improvement of character through: the earnestobedience to the rule and the conduction of assignment. The aspects of creativity are seen in the: the contribution ofsuggestion and ideas, the production of work in the shape ofyells, costumes, and LCC program, and also the appreciationof art and the utilization of model from the material in theenvironment. This quasi experiment research aims to know the influence ofmultiple intelligences based 111ath learning to PGMI student'scharacter espedally on teamwork, responsibility and creati'Vity. The population is all PGMI students, and the sample is studentat year 2010 class A and B. Collecting data with questionnaire, interview and documentation. Validity test is using itemanalysis. Based on Moment Pearson correlation, if correlationcoefficient equal or more than 0,3 then it is valid. The reliability is using alpha Cornbach formula or Spearman Brown split 2technique. Data analysis is using 2 tailed comparative test. The result from questionnaire is giving conclusion : there ispositive influence of multiple intelligences based math learningto 3 PGMI student's character aspects: teamwork, responsibilityand creativity on interval confidence 95 %.Positive influenceon teamwork can be seen at helping each other, support eachother and active participation. On responsibility can be seenat following the rule and doing the task truly. On creativityaspect is seen giving idea, making art product: yel, costume, detail ofLCC ceremony, also art appreciation and using matterform their environment. Keywords: Character, Multiple intelligences (multipleintelligences ), mathematic learning" @default.
