The volume fraction of dynamic recrystallization is lower than 10% for all test conditions in the single β phase field, showing that the main dynamic restoration mechanism is dynamic recovery. The activation energy was calculated to be 172 kJ/mol, which also supported the dominant role of dynamic recovery. Besides dynamic recovery, continuous dynamic recrystallization (CDRX) by progressive lattice rotation was also observed. When it occurred, the concentration of high Kernel Average Misorientation (KAM) values close to grain boundaries and low KAM values at the grain center was observed. Geometric dynamic recrystallization hardly occurred, as high angle grain boundaries (HAGB) spacing was much larger than subgrain size. Discontinuous dynamic recrystallization (DDRX) was rarely observed." @default.
