The aim of the paper is to measure the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of the existing process and investigations are undertaken. The tangible and intangible Performance Indicators (PIs) are introduced in order to identify the effectiveness and efficiency of the system. Moreover, the critical success factors for achieving Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) are also included based on the practical results gained from the study. The effectiveness of the approach is subsequently evaluated and the benefits the host organization received through this new approach by measuring OEE in the six sigma environment are analyzed." @default.
