Coconut Composites were constructed by combining the seven populations/genotypes selected with the production above 3.5 tons of copra/ha/year. Coconut composite superior possessing several advantages compared with other Tall coconut in general such as high productivity as well as high genetic variability inherited from both parents with different genetic composition. Assembling the Tall coconut composite is focused on the upland on wet climate. Performance the local Tall coconut that having potential as selected mother palm for several characters such are production components, pest and disease resistance included leaf physiology and biochemistry was evaluated. The results showed that the four genotypes was specific upland on wet climate with productivity from 3.7 to 4.8 tons of copra/ha/year. The results of this study are expected to produce high yielding coconut genotypes and available for farmers in large quantities so as to increase national production and increase farmers' income. ABSTRAK Penampilan Empat Populasi Kelapa Dalam Potensial Asal Sulawesi Utara untuk Perakitan Kelapa Dalam Komposit Spesifik Lahan Kering Iklim Basah Perbaikan potensi kelapa selalu diupayakan untuk meningkatkan produksi kelapa lokal/daerah yang hanya berproduksi 1.1 ton/ha secara nasional. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dijalankan adalah dengan membangun kebun kelapa Dalam Komposit. Kelapa Komposit dibangun dengan menggabungkan tujuh populasi/genotipe kelapa terpilih dengan produksi di atas 3.5 ton kopra/ha/tahun. Kelapa Dalam unggul komposit memiliki beberapa keunggulan dibanding kelapa Dalam pada umumnya, karena selain produktivitasnya tinggi, juga mempunyai variabilitas genetik tinggi yang diwariskan dari kedua tetua dengan komposisi genetik berbeda. Perakitan kelapa Dalam komposit lebih diarahkan untuk spesifik lokasi dalam hal ini lokasi lahan kering iklim basah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Kegiatan penelitian diawali dengan mengamati penampilan kelapa Dalam unggul lokal yang berpotensi kemudian dilakukan seleksi untuk beberapa karakter, yaitu komponen produksi, ketahanan hama dan penyakit dengan karakter fisiologi dan biokimia daun. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu empat genotip kelapa Dalam spesifik lahan kering iklim basah dengan produktivitas antara 3,7 ton kopra/ha/tahun sampai 4,8 ton kopra/ha/tahun. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan genotip kelapa yang berproduksi tinggi dan tersedia untuk petani dalam jumlah banyak sehingga dapat meningkatkan produksi kelapa secara nasional dan meningkatkan pendapatan petani.
