- W2606668051 abstract "The reaction products, formed during annealing of porous powder mixtures of Si3N4 with non-nitride forming metals like Ni or Mo, will depend on the partial pressure of N2 in the atmosphere. In a diffusion couple, however, nitrogen has to be released at the Si3N4-interface during the formation of a metal silicide. It cannot escape easily and builds up a higher pressure of nitrogen at this interface. Therefore, the reaction products are different from those in porous pellets. This has been verified for NiSi3N4 and MoSi3N4 couples. The role of traces of oxygen on these reactions will be discussed. Les produits de re´action forme´s pendant le recuit de me´langes de poudres poreuses de Si3N4 avec des me´taux qui ne forment pas de nitrures tels que Ni ou Mo, de´pendent de la pression partielle de N2 dans l'atmosphe`re. Cependant, dans un couple de diffusion de l'azote doiteˆtre libéréa`l'interface de Si3N4 pendant la formation d'un siliciure de me´tal. Il ne peut pas s'e´chapper facilement et produit une pression d'azote plusélevéea`cette interface Donc, les produits de la re´action sont diffe´rents de ceux des pastilles poreuses. Ceci ae´te´ve´rifie´pour les couples NiSi3N4 et MoSi3N4. Le roˆle de traces d'oxyge`ne dans ces re´actions est aussi discute´. Die Reaktionsprodukte, die sich wa¨hrend des Ausheilens poro¨ser Pulvermischungen von Si3N4 und nicht-nitridbildenden Metallen wie Ni oder Mo bilden, ha¨ngen von dem Partialdruck des N2 in der Atmospha¨re ab. Bei einem Diffusionspaar jedoch muβ der Stickstoff an der Si3N4-Grenzfla¨che wa¨hrend der Bildung eines Metallsilizids freigegeben werden. Der Stickstoff kann nur schwer entkommen und baut dadurch einen ho¨heren Druck an dieser Grenzfla¨che auf. Daher unterscheiden sich die Reaktionsprodukte an der Grenzfla¨che von denen in poro¨sen Aggregaten. Dieses Ergebnis wird fu¨r NiSi3N4- und MoSi3N4-Paare verifiziert. Die Rolle von Spuren von Sauerstoff bei diesen Reaktionen wird diskutiert." @default.
