- W2607453670 abstract "In Chapter 5 we began the story of the recent crisis and transformation process by describing the principal features of a new technoeconomic paradigm of industrial production, and a new informational economy. These, however, constitute supply-side innovations. What about the demand side? Following the perspective of the Regulation School, we recall that long-term macro economic stability also requires a resolution of the demand side of the equation, with supply and demand together informing a ‘regime of accumulation’. Moreover, a regime of accumulation in turn will only come about through an appropriate mode of regulation, in the shape of relevant norms, habits and laws, as well as governing institutions. Crucially, this mode of regulation describes not only the micro-institutional context of the organization of production and work, but also the macro-institutional context in which expanded economic reproduction takes place, namely a coherent production-distribution and consumption relationship.KeywordsVenture CapitalGlobal GovernanceUruguay RoundPolitical ProjectInternational Financial MarketThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
