Indium vanadate has attractive photocatalytic properties under visible light. InVO 4 was synthesized by a hydrothermal method without using any organic precursor. Catalyst was well characterized with different techniques involving X‐ray diffraction, UV‐Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray photoelectron microscopy and thermal gravimetric analysis. Its catalytic performance was evaluated for photoreduction of CO 2 in a batch reactor under visible light irradiation. 520 ppm of CO was obtained in presence of triethanolamine (TEOA) as an electron donor." @default.
