- W2612180258 abstract "Due to the rapid development of economy, the traffic volume is on constant growth. There are more and more diseases happen to roads especially the expressway because of the larger and heavy overloading vehicles increasing. Maintenance method is extremely urgent to save time, resource and work efficiently. This article is based on a reconstruction project of certain expressway asphalt pavement test section. Firstly, quality evaluation for the original road surface was given. Secondly, it described a detailed study of the cold in-place recycling mixture ratio design process. Thirdly, bearing capacity comparison was given by using deflection values before and after the cold in-place recycling. Lastly, it gave its application effect in base course of old asphalt mixture. The chief aim of the present work is to investigate the advantage features of the cold in-place recycling base compared with cement stabilized macadam base of asphalt pavement in expressway. After the cold in-place recycling improvement, usability and structural performance of pavement have greatly promoted. It enhances the bearing capacity of pavement structure and improved the running quality and reduced dry shrinkage and temperature shrinkage cracks. The deflection value is equivalent of 20-30% of the value untreated before. It brings benefits for direct economic, time, social, resources and environmental. The results of the experiment provide a reference case to similar maintenance engineering of expressway in the future." @default.
