A seguir, expomos uma análise das flexões dos verbos no futuro do subjuntivo por meio da Morfologia Distribuída (HALLE; MARANTZ, 1993, MARANTZ, 1997, EMBICK, 2010) e de alguns estudos posteriores como o de Bassani &amp; Lunguinho (2011).</p><p><strong>Abstract:</strong> <em>In this paper, we present a descriptive-comparative study of the Latin impersonal infinitive with the inflected infinitive in Brazilian Portuguese (BP) according to Chomsky’s Generative Theory (1986, 1995, 2001) and the Distributed Morphology theory from Halle &amp; Marantz (1993,1997), aiming to systematize and map an overview of the main studies about the origin of inflected infinitive in Portuguese. We show the pros and cons of the two main hypotheses for its genesis - the latin imperfect subjunctive’s theory and creative theory (MAURER,1968; MARTINS, 2001; WIREBACK, 1994).
