- W2614486476 abstract "Objectifs: Le decorticage des graines de nere precuites est une activite penible pour les femmes productrices d’afitin (encore appele dawadawa, iru, soumbala).La presente etude vise la mise au point d’une decortiqueuse performante de graines de nere precuites, l’optimisation et la validation de ses performances selon l’approche centree sur les utilisateurs. Methodologie et resultats: L’optimisation est realisee au moyen d’un plan d’experiences factoriel, les valeurs des variables caracteristiques retenues etant celles du procede traditionnel de decorticage, en raison des qualites de son produit final. Les resultats recueillis, dans les conditions optimales de son fonctionnement (vitesse : 666 tr/mn, ouverture de tremie : 116 mm), montrent que les performances fournies satisfont aux criteres exiges par les transformatrices de nere pour adopter la machine. A ces conditions optimales, l’equipement presente les performances suivantes : Indice de decorticage (0,91), Taux de decorticage (96,27 %), Taux de brisure (1,47%), Rendement au decorticage (50,35%), et Capacite horaire (773 kg/h). Conclusion et application des resultats: Les resultats obtenus confirment l’excellente performance delivree par la decortiqueuse realisee. Les parametres de performance affichent des valeurs optimales assez interessantes et conformes aux aspirations exprimees par les utilisatrices en prelude a son adoption. Ainsi, la valeur optimisee du taux de decorticage, a la vitesse de la grille de 666 tr/mn et au diametre de la sortie de la tremie de 116 mm est egale a 96,27%. Ces conditions operatoires conduisent a un taux de brisure des cotyledons de 1,47% inferieur de 70% a celui des conditions de reference. L’une des exigences capitales des transformatrices de graines de nere est satisfaite a ce niveau. Dans la meme tendance, on note que la valeur optimale du rendement au decorticage est de 4,16% superieure a celle des conditions de reference (48%). Cette etude permet de proposer une decortiqueuse performante aux transformatrices qui a court terme doit etre vulgarisee. Mots Cles: decortiqueuse, afitin, cotyledons, brisure, rendement, indice de decorticage English Title: Design, performances optimization and validation centered on users requirements for African locust bean seeds dehusker Parkia biglobosa English Abstract Objectives: The dehulling of precooked locust bean seed is a hard work for women producers of afitin (also called dawadawa, iru, soumbala). The aim of this study is to develop a high-performance huller of pre-baked locust bean seeds, optimization and validation of its performance according to the user-centered approach. Methodology and results: The optimization is carried out by means of a factorial experimental design. The values of the characteristic variables retained being those of the traditional method of dehulling, due to the qualities of its final product. The obtained results, under optimal running conditions (speed: 666 rpm, hopper opening diameter: 116mm), showed that, apparatus output performances met the established compulsory criteria by African locust bean seeds processors into afitin for dehusker adoption. At these optimum conditions, the equipment has the following performances: dehulling index (0.91), shelling rate (96.27%), breakage rate (1.47%), shelling yield (50.35%), hourly capacity (773 kg/h). Conclusions and application of the result: The results confirm the excellent performance delivered by the realized dehuller. Performance parameters appear quite interesting and optimum values and in line with the aspirations expressed by the women before its adoption. This equipment, better than the traditional method, significantly improves the quality work of locust bean seeds transformers into afitin. Thus, the optimum value of the husking rate to the grate speed of 666 rpm and the diameter of the hopper 116 mm is equal to 96.27%. These process conditions lead to a breaking rate of cotyledons is 1.47 ; less than 70% that of the reference value. One of the crucial requirements of African locust beans processors is satisfied at this level. In the same trend, it is noted that the optimal value of the hulling yield is 4.16% higher than that of the reference value (48%). This study allows us to offer an efficient dehuller the processors.
