- W2617261726 abstract "Back in the middle of the twentieth century, it seemed to social scientists that the manageability of was growing rapidly. liberal tradition and critical theory considered in the society and democracy the features of the crisis of modern society. In the liberal tradition, manageability was seen as a negative characteristic of an individual zombified by the media or a sick civil incapable of critical analysis of power. On the other hand, the tendency to increase the manageability of social phenomena has been questioned. For example, A. Gehlen wrote: The direct domination of man over man in the twentieth century is increasingly considered unbearable and subject to dismantling. In a modern social state, people are no longer subject to true domination. decisive question, which follows from here, is whether the manageability of social relations is increasing or decreasing in general. 1970-80-ies showed the correctness of doubts A. Gehlen. In place of the doctrine of control came the doctrine of self-organization, which made its adjustments in the ratio of spontaneous and managed social processes. Thus, the problem field of management sociology is characterized by the following problems. 1. Critical theory of diagnoses the destruction of subjectivity, when an individual becomes a puppet, governed by society, his social movements are not meaningful, he submits to automatically, without inner conviction. At the same time, management is always in demand for managed subjects who actively share the position of the manager. In connection with these topical sociological studies of controllability, commitment, loyalty and tolerance as management mechanisms of interaction between managed subjects and managers. 2. domination of man over man is viewed in modern as unacceptable and illegitimate, but there are no other mechanisms of support for controllability (except domination). This circumstance requires the development of the concept of subject-subject management in contrast to the traditional subject-object. subject-subject management focuses attention on horizontal links, adhocratic and network organizational structures, problems of coordination and communication in management. 3. simultaneous crisis of consciousness and legitimacy, which is developing in modern society, deprives the possibility of using both democratic, based on consciousness, and authoritarian, based on subordination, mechanisms to achieve manageability, which leads to an increase in the spontaneity of social phenomena and processes. In this regard, sociology management focuses on the problem of the ratio of spontaneous and controlled processes in management, seeking boundaries and a measure of manageability. This problem field also creates a specific social order for the sociology of management. Sociology of management should participate in the creation of an effective management institution that is capable of modernizing administrative structures not only following, but also anticipating the dynamics of social processes." @default.
