In this work, we propose a new scheme for load balancing that uses multiple workload classes to guarantee end-to-end QoS while conserving energy with little compromise on either. Experiments were done using CloudSim toolkit and obtained results show that our scheme outperforms the other approaches both in terms of energy conservation and QoS adherence.
