- W2619563664 abstract "The multiphysical field simulation of the metal jet at high velocity in passive electromagnetic armor still has some difficulties at present. In order to solve the problem, the multiphysical analysis model of temperature field, electrical field, and deformation for the metal jet is built when the jet is at quasi-liquid or liquid state, and then, the control equations of the current density, temperature field, the necking and kinking instability growth rate for the metal jet at high speed are obtained. These equations are solved by numerical calculation method. Furthermore, the solving process is given and the analysis program for the multiphysical field coupling model of metal jet at high velocity in electromagnetic armor is designed. After that, the characteristics of metal jet at high velocity in the passive electromagnetic armor are calculated by the simulation program. The simulation results are verified by the experiment, and the validity of the control equations and the solving method for the metal jet are proven. It can draw conclusions from the study results that the analysis model and the solving method can be used to the multiphysical field analysis for the metal jet at high velocity, which is significant to the design and optimization of the passive electromagnetic armor." @default.
