- W2620862008 abstract "We propose a hybrid control scheme for Single Stage Boost Inverter (SSBI) with reduced number of devices for Photovoltaic (PV) and nanogrid residential applications for both AC and DC loads. When compared to multistage topology, single stage topology is simple with less number of devices and components. The reduction in devices and components results in low cost and better efficiency. The hybrid control scheme includes One Cycle Control (OCC) and Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) in order to obtain high gain and low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) when compared to the conventional Unipolar Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation method. The output of the SSBI with proposed hybrid control scheme produces AC output voltage with THD of 0.70% which is within IEEE Standard 519 Voltage Harmonic Limits, and also gives efficiency of 92%. The observed simulation results reveal that the proposed hybrid control scheme for SSBI can give high voltage gain, low THD, and good efficiency." @default.
