Se analizaron los polimorfismos enzimaticos aplicando modelos biometricos multilocus para determinar los parametros de los sistemas de fecundacion. La fecundacion por cruza iba de 0,14 a 0,72. Los resultados dependian fuertemente de las condiciones agroecologicas. Los cultivares sudoccidentales mostraron un indice de cruza mas alto que los nordorientales. No habia diferencias significativas de indices de cruza entre los cultivares locales y los adaptados en amplia escala en las condiciones nordorientales, pero bajo las condiciones sudoccidentales se hallo tendencia a mayores indices de autofecundacion en los cultivares locales que en los adaptados mas extensamente. Usar los mismos protocolos de regeneracion y ordenamiento para todas las accesiones del banco de genes es una grave amenaza de erosion genetica. Estos datos proveen informacion util para desarrollar estrategias eficaces de regeneracion de germoplasma y estrategias previas a la fecundacion y el mejoramiento de las variedades locales EnglishKnowledge about patterns of variation in the mating system of partially allogamous species is essential for germplasm management. To elucidate patterns of variation, we tested two different types of cultivars, one locally adapted to the area and the other more widely adapted, in two different European agro-ecological conditions to help in developing effective germplasm management strategies. Agro-ecological conditions were: two locations and winter cultivars in southwest Europe; and five locations and spring cultivars in northeast Europe. We analysed enzyme polymorphisms and applied multilocus biometrical models to determine mating system parameters. Outcrossing ranged from 0.14 to 0.72. These results were strongly influenced by agro-ecological conditions. Southwestern cultivars showed a consistently higher outcrossing rate than did northeastern cultivars. No significant differences were found among local and widely adapted cultivar outcrossing rates under northeastern conditions. However, under southwestern conditions, we found a tendency to higher selfing rates in the local cultivars than in the more widely adapted ones. Based on the degree of variation among the mating systems of faba bean cultivars, serious genetic erosion is a threat if the same regeneration and management protocols are used for all genebank accessions. Deux types de cultivars (adaptes a une zone limitee ou vaste) ont ete testes dans deux conditions agro-ecologiques differentes : deux localites et des cultivars d’hiver dans le sud-ouest de l’Europe ; et cinq localites et des cultivars de printemps dans le nord-est de l’Europe. Les polymorphismes enzymatiques ont ete etudies et des modeles biometriques multilocaux ont ete appliques pour determiner les parametres du systeme de croisement. Les taux de fecondation croisee vont de 0,14 a 0,72, ceux des cultivars du sud-ouest etant systematiquement plus eleves que ceux du nord-est. Il n’y a pas de differences significatives entre les taux de fecondation croisees des cultivars adaptes a une region limitee ou vaste dans le nordest. Cependant, dans le sud-ouest, les taux d’autofecondation sont plus eleves parmi les cultivars locaux que chez ceux qui sont adaptes a une region plus vaste. Le degre de variation observe dans les systemes de croisement de cultivars de feves indique qu’il existe une grave menace d’erosion genetique si l’on utilise les memes protocoles de regeneration et de gestion pour toutes les accessions de banques de genes.
