Globalization is a process that is changing the map of the activity of production of symbolic representations of human beings. The previous logocentric culture has been overwhelmed by the absolute rule of the audiovisual, whose boundaries have been broken with the advent of digitization, which has been a technical matching of all types of content. This transformation is mutating production of all types of cultural content, posing a new map of great cultural centers of symbolic production and the emergence of novel producing terms such as transnational cinema, communication, cross-media or transmedia audiovisual language. One of the most interesting lines that will shape the new landscape of social and cultural creation in the contemporary image has to do with the questioning of the classical idea of film authorship and the subversion of the relationship between transmitter and receiver. Social production of audiovisual content is set to revolutionize many classical concepts of the theory of analysis, and film and many of the assumptions of the models of industrial production. The work is to discover and experience to value films that problematize some of these concepts and are consolidating practices such as collaborative film without an author, a kind of open cinema whose methodology is based on the renunciation of public recognition and ownership as a weapon of political struggle." @default.
