- W2634643655 abstract "The high rate of human mortality is caused by artery diseases, and most of them are caused by atherosclerosis. The objective judgment system of the arteriosclerosis is desired because most of medical judgments are done by subjective decision. Here, the mechanical evaluation of human artery is difficult to carry out precisely because its behavior is complicated and it is in human body. In this study, the imitated system of human circulatory organ is developed, and it is used to evaluate the mechanics of the artery. The relationship between the pulsatile flow and the stiffness of artery is evaluated by using the silicone tubes with different mechanical characteristics which imitates human artery. The effect of the tube length is also discussed for the mechanical evaluation of the artery." @default.
