- W2666353766 abstract "Bio fuel is a good substitute fuel for petrolem because it is reproducible and because there is very little emission of CO_2 throughout the ecosystem cycle. Methyl-esterificated fuel produced from vegetable oil is particularly beneficial for high-speed smalldiesel engines because almost the same engine performance as that achived by the use of a gas oil is possible but there is much less exhaust smoke. However, since oxygen molecules in esterified fuel contain oxygen, there is arisk that more toxic substances containing oxygen will be emitted from adiesel engine in which esterified fuel is used than from an engine in which gas oil is used as fuel. This paper presents the results of comparison of the performance of a diesel engine and the property of exahsted gases emitted from a diesel engine using esterificated fuel and using gas oil fuel as well as a comparison of the amounts of aldehydes produced when esterified fuel and gas oil fuel are decomposed by heat in an infrared radiation gold image furnace." @default.
