The Xcom program has been used to calculate the mass attenuation coefficients (μm), effective atomic numbers (Zeff), effective electron densities (Nel), half value layer (HVL) and mean free path (MFP) in the energy range 1 keV–100 GeV of phthalocyanine (Pc) doped with Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn and Pb. The values of exposure buildup factor (EBF) have been calculated for Pc, MnPc, FePc, NiPc, CuPc and PbPc. The geometrical progression (G-P) method was used to calculate the EBF in the photon energy range 0.015–15 MeV and up to 40 penetration depth (mfp). The computed data observes that the PbPc showed excellently γ-rays sensing a response in the broad energy range." @default.
