Ademas, examinaremos el fracaso escolar desde otra vision mucho mas cualitativa y que intenta vislumbrar que se esconde detras de los numeros que muestran un resultado educativo. Es la perspectiva de la exclusion educativa que tiene como fundamento el derecho que poseen todas las personas a no solo acceder a la escuela sino a recibir una educacion de calidad y que intenta buscar otros culpables del fracaso que no sean el propio estudiante. Abstract: This paper first discusses school failure from three different perspectives and conceptualizations: certified or administrative school failure, early school leavers and PISA school failure. All these approaches share the same key feature, they all are measurable. However, despite their common aspect, they reveal different and, in some cases, contradictory results as we shall see. Nevertheless, we will analyse school failure from a much more qualitative point of view, trying to see what is going on behind the numbers which show an educational result. It is the perspective of educational exclusion, which is based not only on the right of all individuals to education but to receive a high quality education, and tries to attribute the responsibility and causes of such a failure not only in the blame of students.
