- W2740805953 abstract "Resumen In recent years mobile telephony is gaining in prominence in the lives of people. Despite the benefits resulting from their use, its overuse can cause personal and social problems. This work compares if there is an abusive mobile phone use among young people with and without limited mobility. 213 young people participated (111 without limited mobility and 102 with limited mobility). Aged between 18 and 32 years (M= 23.31, S.D= 3.64). They answered the questionnaire Experiences Related to the mobile phone (CERM), designed to measure mobile addiction. It spread through the network for 16 weeks. Various covariance analysis were performed. The effects of age and gender were eliminated. Analyses indicated that participants with limited mobility, mainly the ones with limited mobility showed an increased use and dependence on technology. Although this suggests the importance for young people with functional diversity of the mobile phone use, it also indicates that limited mobility, especially limited mobility may be a vulnerability factor for an excessive use." @default.
