• W2742019956 abstract "Padroes de drenagem especificos foram encontrados na area de estudo, situada na regiao centro-norte do Estado do Parana . Os de tipo semi-retangular e retangular foram estabelecidos pela presenca de falhas preenchidas por diques em geral (com direcao aproximada de N50oW). Os padroes de tipo subparalelos e paralelos foram estabelecidos pela existencia de fraturas comumente de direcao norte. A base metodologica do trabalho ficou centrada em levantamento bibliografico, cartografico, e nos produtos do sensoriamento remoto. Foram utilizadas: quatro cartas topograficas do IBGE na escala 1:100.000, necessarias para o recobrimento da area de estudo, carta geologica do Parana (Mineropar, 2006) na escala 1:650.000, e dados SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission), organizado pela NASA (2000), obtidos no site da EMBRAPA (2005), que permitiram a elaboracao da carta hipsometrica. Constatou-se que a drenagem da area de estudo, e fortemente influenciada por diques de diabasio, entre outros lineamentos estruturais. A B S T R A C T This work targets to continue the existing researches about the geology and geomorphology of the contact between the second and third paranaense plateau. The objectives of this research was to recognize and plot the diabase dikes, identify others structural lineaments of the study area formulate the area’s drainage map and associate the drainage arrangement with the lineaments found. Specific drainage systems patterns were found in the study area, situated in the central north region of the State of Parana. Those with the semi-rectangular and rectangular forms were determined by the presence of faults filled with dikes in general (with approximated direction of N50oW). The subparallel and parallel patterns were determined through the existence of fractures commonly directed north. The works methodological base was centered on bibliographic and particularly cartographic surveys. In this case, it was used: four topographic maps from IBGE in the scale 1:100.000 to cover the study area, a geologic map of Parana (Mineropar, 2006) in the scale 1:650.000, and SRTM(Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) data arranged by NASA(2000), obtained at Miranda (2005), allowing the elaboration of the  hypsometric map. It was stablished that the drainage of the study area is strongly affected by the diabase dikes, and other structural lineaments .
