This review was conducted using MEDLINE databases via Pubmed, Web of Science and Scopus during July 2016. Original and observational studies that addressed physical activity in amputees were included. The titles and abstracts were independently assessed by two authors. Next, the articles were read in full and selected according to pre-established eligibility criteria. The methodological quality of each study was also evaluated. This review contributes to the identification of instruments and aspects related to the assessment of the level of PA in amputees, showing advantages and disadvantages in each identified method. In this review, 10 different instruments that assessed physical activity in amputees could be observed. Despite some validated instruments for amputees, they are not specific for this population. Furthermore, these instruments do not take into account that the energy expenditure of amputees during activity performance is different from that of subjects without amputation, which may underestimate the results. Analyser la littérature scientifique relative à l’évaluation du niveau d’activité physique chez les amputés. Cette revue a été réalisée à partir des bases de données MEDLINE via Pubmed, Web of Science et Scopus en juillet 2016. Les études originales et observationnelles portant sur l’activité physique chez les amputés ont été incluses. Les articles ont été sélectionnés selon des critères d’admissibilité préétablis. La qualité méthodologique de chaque étude a été évaluée. Cette analyse a permis l’identification des outils et des méthodologies propres à l’évaluation de l’impact de l’activité physique chez les amputés, en indiquant les avantages et les limites de chaque méthode identifiée. Dans cette analyse examen, nous avons étudié 10 instruments différents utilisés pour évaluer l’activité physique chez les amputés. Bien que quelques instruments soient validés pour les amputés, ceux ci ne sont pas spécifiques à cette population. Particulièrement, ces instruments ne tiennent pas compte du fait que la dépense énergétique des amputés pendant la réalisation de l’activité est différente de celle des sujets." @default.
