The phenomenon can be modeled as the initial and the boundary value problems with respect to the Laplace equation. The equation is solved to determine the velocity and the acceleration components on the fluid surface. For solving the initial value problem, we will compare the simple Euler scheme using velocity vector on the free surface alone and the extended scheme using both velocity and acceleration.
