- W2755578144 abstract "Calanus plumchrus, C. cristatus, Eucalanus bungii bungii, Metridia lucensはいずれも40°N以北の親潮水域の上層部にきわめて豊富に棲息する冷水系の橈脚類であるが, 本研究で, これらの分布が伊豆海嶺を中心とした本州南方海域にまで及んでおり, そこでは太平洋中層水の存在する水温10℃以下の400m以深に出現することが明らかになった.今回の調査海域で採集された冷水系プランクトンのうち, 量的に最も多かったC. cristatusを, 親潮水域で得られた同種と比較考察した結果, それらは親潮水域で生まれ, 水塊の動きにともなって沈降南下したものと推定された. そして, それらの分布から, 親潮水の一部が本州東北海域で沈下し, 400～1,000mの深さを, 一つは黒潮と本州の間の沿岸ぞいの狭い水域を西に流れて駿河湾に至り, もう一つは前者に較べてきわめて弱いが, 外洋域すなわち黒潮の南を南下し, 32°N以南の海嶺のギャップを通って西に138°E付近まで拡がることが認められた. 親潮水は, さらに西方にのび, 沿岸で上昇して, 紀州沖冷水塊の発生に作用することが考えられる.伊豆海嶺は, 32°N以北では親潮水の流動をさまたげ, 冷水系プランクトンの出現に影響を与えるが, 全体としては, それらの分布の境界となるほどの大きい作用をするものではない." @default.
