ABSTRACT: Radiology into the undergraduate medical course motivates great an interest, because the early introduction to the subject of imaging diagnosis, in an integrated way, as a vector of teaching strategies in addressing various areas of medical knowledge, in traditionalist formatting antagonism of disciplinary character, must deserve the attention of who work in the academic scenario not only for the role you have in this but also, in the future the additional diagnostic imaging methods tend to win, if the technological development curve continues growing for decades to come. It has as objective to conduct a systematic review of the literature regarding strategies for radiology education in an integrated manner, in the course of degree in medicine, with the use of active methodologies. It appears that the early introduction of Radiology in the medical course, not only from the perspective of diagnostic training, but also as a facilitator of construction of other basic knowledge, enriching the understanding of disease processes as well as the normal and pathological anatomy, contrary to the traditionalist argument that Radiology is taught and learned with a great consistency after the students had exposure to the clinical training.
