Ahmet Serel, Meltem Cetin, Mehmet Tahoglu, Muzaffer Kecelioglu Ozet Basit renal fdstli 34 hastaya ultrasonografi esliginde perkutan aspirasyon ve % 96 'hk etanol ile skleroterapi uygulandi. Renal kist sivilarinin biyokimyasal, mikrobiyolojik ve sitopatolojik degerlendirmesi yapildi. Hastalarin hepsi ultrasonla takip edildi. Kist sivisindaki glukoz, ure azotu ve klor konsantrasyonlarinin seruma gore daha yuksek, total protein, kalsiyum, total lipit ve laktik dehidrogenaz duzeyleri serum degerlerine gore daha dusuk idi. Kreatinin, urik asit, sodyum ve potasyum duzeyleri serumdakinden farkli degildi. Kist sivisi kulturlerinde ureme olmadi ve sitolojik incelemede malignite saptanmadi. Tedavi sonrasi takipte 6 hastada rekurrens saptandi. Rekurrens saptanan hastalarla saptanmayanlar arasinda kistin biyokimyasal kompozisyonu acisindan fark yoktu. Sonuc olarak bulgularimiz basit renal kist sivisinin tam bir serum olmadigini ve kistin rekurrensi ile biyokimyasal bulgular arasinda bir iliski bulunmadigini gosterdi. The renal cystic fluids vere examined biochemicaliy, microbiologically and cytologically. The patients were followed up by ultrasound. Although the cyst fluidlevels ofglucose, urea nitrogen andchloride were higher than those in the serum, total protein, calcium, total lipid and lactic dehydrogenase levels were lower than those in the serum. Creatinine, uric acid, sodium and potassium levels were not different those of serum. The cyst fluid cultures remained sterile and cytologic findings were negative vith regard to malignancy. The recurrence of cyst in 6 patients ~was determined in follow-up period after treatment. There vas not difference between the patients with and vithout recurrence according to the biochemical composition of cyst. in conclusion, our results showed that simple renal cyst fluid is not totally serum, and that there was not any relation behveen the recurrence of cyst and biochemical findings. Key Words: Simple renal cyst, biochemical analysis, recurrence." @default.
