- W2761765621 abstract "Permasalahan tentang pencemaran udara di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh beberapa penyebab, salah satunya adalah meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan bermotor. Peningkatan jumlah kendaraan bermotor mengakibatkan semakin tingginya konsentrasi gas karbon monoksida (CO). Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah alat yang mampu mendeteksi kadar gas karbon monoksida serta memberikan indikasi kualitas udaranya. Alat ini menggunakan sensor MQ-7 yang digunakan sebagai pendeteksi kadar gas karbon monoksida, mikrokontroler ATMEGA16 sebagai perangkat kendali masukan dan keluaran pada alat, IC74HC595 sebagai perangkat kendali kolom, Transistor PNP BC557 sebagai perangkat kendali baris, serta LED Dot Matrix 5x8 sebagai tampilan. Hasilnya, Nilai minimal keluaran pada pengujian rangkaian sensor MQ-7 sebesar 0.25V DC terjadi saat kadar gas 50ppm dan nilai maksimal yang terjadi saat 350ppm sebesar 0,62V DC . Semakin tinggi nilai kadar gas yang terukur, tegangan keluaran meningkat. . Kata kunci: Karbon Monoksida, Sensor MQ-7, Mikrokontroler ATMEGA16, LED Dot Matrix ABSTRACT Problem of air pollution in Indonesia is influenced by several causes, one of them is the increasing number of vehicles. Increasing number of vehicles resulted in the higher concentrations of carbon monoxide. Therefore we need a device that can detect gas level of carbon monoxide and can give information about the air quality. This device consisted of MQ-7 sensor for detecting carbon monoxide gas levels, ATMEGA16 microcontroller for controlling input and output device, IC74HC595 for controlling column, PNP Transistor BC557 for controlling line devices, and a 5x8 Dot Matrix LED as the display. As a result, the minimum value of output on the MQ-7 sensor is 0.25VDC when the gas level is 50ppm and the maximum value at 350ppm is 0.62VDC.
