Winkler–type foundation is used as an elastic medium. The governing equations are investigated by finding the critical buckling load with aid of Recursive Differentiation Method. This method requires less computation time and thus the convergence is fast. The effects of small scale parameter and elastic foundation on buckling load are observed and outputs are plotted graphically. In addition, the accuracy of the present method is verified with the results available in literature." @default.
