- W2765432442 abstract "At present, several imaging methods have been used to diagnose images obtained from medical imaging system. The objective of this work is to segment the intima-media layer of common carotid artery image various age people and implement on Unified Technology Learning Platform. Due to the presence of speckle noise, the diagnosis of ultrasound image becomes more difficult. It leads to diminish the perseverance and contrast of an image and the analytical values of an ultrasound image have reduced. The marr-hildreth approach has been used to attain the edges of carotid artery which comprise of gaussian filter and zero crossings edge detection. Many segmentation techniques are available in Aphelion Dev software in that morphological techniques are used for attaining accurate result of Intima-media. The segmented image has been employed in SPARTAN-6 Field Programmable Gate Array platform which enhances the speed of processing 60ns. The segmented details have been used for real time medical applications and analysis of cardio and cerebrovascular diseases." @default.
