- W2765478744 abstract "Eu2+ and Eu3+ codoped LaSr2AlO5:Eu phosphor are synthesized by a high-temperature solid-state method. In LaSr2AlO5:Eu, 5D0-7F2 and 5D0-7F4 emissions of Eu3+ almost have the same intensity, and both are stronger than 5D0-7F1 emission. The equivalent substitution of Ba2+ or Ca2+ for Sr2+ and non-equivalent substitution of Si4+ for Al3+ are used to tune the luminescence properties of LaSr2AlO5:Eu. The incorporation of Ba2+ or Ca2+ has almost no influence on the reduction of Eu3+, whereas the incorporation of Si4+ results in a tunable luminescence from red, yellow, to yellowish-green region due to the occurrence of an obvious Eu2+ emission at about 520 nm upon UV light excitation. The results indicate that the Eu2+ and Eu3+ codoped LaSr2(Al,Si)O5:Eu phosphors have potential application in UV-LEDs lighting." @default.
