- W2766584296 abstract "The main parameter for the operational control mode of devices with surface dielectric barrier discharge (SDBD) is the voltage on the dynamic plasma load. In this case, to obtain most efficient mode, the power supply is set up with plasma load into resonance (by adjusting the supply voltage frequency). In this work the authors show the results of the experimental modeling for coordination loss in a resonant circuit which was formed by a high-frequency power source and the plasma load. Two types of coordination loss are considered — at the control of the root mean square (RMS) voltage value (3.5 kV) and at the control of the amplitude value (5.1 kV). The load is modeled by disk with the diameter of 16 mm on the ceramic barrier (alumina ceramic, thickness of 1 mm). Basing upon the measurements of the discharge energy (according to VCC method), it is shown that the best mode in terms of sustainability is the position on the left from the resonance. Upon transition on a transfer characteristic from low to high frequencies (from 18 to 35 kHz in the present case) at the control of the voltage RMS value, the discharge energy is reduced. When the amplitude value is controlled, the energy increases. A special section of adjusting at the control of the amplitude value is a range of frequencies corresponding to a sharp resonance — the discharge energy increases significantly." @default.
