- W2766630762 abstract "A series Eu3+ doped NaCaPO4 (NCPO) red emitting phosphor were successfully synthesized by facile combustion method using urea as incendiary agent. The constituents and photo-luminescent (PL) properties of the phosphors were studied by employing the X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) patterns, excitation and emission spectra. The XRD pattern revealed that the synthetic sample belong to single phase NCPO. Monitoring for different emission peaks, the excitation spectra of NCPO:Eu3+ are similar and the strongest excitation peak is at 393 nm. Under 393 nm, the main emission peak of NCPO: Eu3+ phosphor is at 619 nm. The influences of Eu3+ concentration and urea dosage on the emission intensity are investigated. The results suggest that alkali-alkaline earth metal phosphate phosphor can be prepared by combustion and this red phosphor can be a good candidate for near UV-based white LED." @default.
