The study developed and tested a theoretical model using a sample of 226 employees working knowledge intensive firms in India that use enterprise social media platforms for internal communication. The paper discusses how employee interaction through enterprise social media impacts organizational learning capability. Application of PLS-SEM to the mediation model, revealed that the above relationship is fully mediated by the employees’ informal learning activities in the form of knowledge sharing and innovative behavior. The paper offers theoretical and practical implications for both social media and learning domains. Directions for future work are also discussed." @default.
