A partir da análise detalhada dos documentos previamente selecionados, foram obtidos resultados consideravelmente importantes a respeito do tema, desde o crescente aparecimento de estudos relacionados ao intraempreendedorismo, não apenas na área da administração como se esperava, até a possiblidade de comparativos a respeito do desenvolvimento de pesquisas na área e o levantamento de hipóteses sobre quais fatores influenciam as mesmas. Partindo de três variáveis principais, país de publicação, base de dados e autores, foi possível correlacionar a quantidade de artigos, para cada variável, e suas possíveis causas.
