- W2782600826 abstract "The capability of distributed generation (DG) systems connected to weak grids has garnered increased interest in recent times. In this study, a comprehensive power hardware-in-the-loop (PHIL) platform has been established, which is used to emulate a weak grid with an actual DG. In addition, a new interface algorithm that improves the stability of this PHIL platform is presented. Firstly, by establishing an impedance model of the PHIL platform with a DG, the system stability is analyzed. Secondly, to address the stability issues of the PHIL simulations, an interface algorithm (IA) is proposed and is set up on the real-time simulator. This algorithm is able to shape the combined impedance using an impedance model. Using the PHIL simulation, a more stable and accurate simulation performance is obtained. Finally, the proposed IA method is proved by the PHIL simulations." @default.
