It applies a questionnaire containing open and closed questions, to the students enrolled in the bachelor's degree in Archivology of a Federal Institution of Higher Education located in the State of Rio de Janeiro that paid 80% or more of the minimum workload expected to complete the course in the second half of 2017. It concludes that the supervised internship program is the gateway of the graduating to the job market and can’t be seen as an activity performed only to meet a curricular requirement. It states that a closer link between higher education institutions and companies offering internships can bring benefits to the program. The study also suggested improvements to the supervised internship program, such as visits to institutions that performs or have performed relevant archival projects, and seminars that brings professionals of the labor market to talk with students in the university." @default.
