- W2782724363 abstract "Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dominasi jenis dan kandungan nutrien gulma di dua lokasi dengan perbedaan ketinggian dari permukaan laut. Gulma dianggap sebagai pengganggu karena menurunkan hasil yang bisa dicapai oleh tanaman produksi. Gulma, walaupun dianggap sebagai pengganggu tetapi juga dapat dijadikan bahan pakan alternatif. Metode yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat dominasi dari gulma menggunakan teknik line intercept transect dan kualitas nutrisi gulma dengan menggunakan metode analisis proksimat. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gulma rumput menjadi gulma dominan di dataran rendah dan tinggi yang memiliki nilai rerata summed domination rasio 54,8%, gulma forb 44,7%, dan gulma legum 0,5%. Tiga besar gulma yang dominan pada kedua lokasi adalah Eleusine indica, Ludwigia octovalvis, dan Portulaca oleracea. Berdasarkan analisis proksimat yang dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa perbedaan tinggi tempat berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap beberapa kandungan nutrien gulma rumput dan forb. Kandungan protein Eleusine indica di dataran tinggi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dataran rendah (P<0,05). Kandungan bahan kering Portulaca oleracea dan Ludwigia octovalvis di dataran rendah lebih tinggi dibandingkan dataran tinggi (P<0,05). Kandungan serat kasar Portulaca oleracea dan Ludwigia octovalvis di dataran tinggi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dataran rendah (P<0,05). Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan ketinggian tempat berpengaruh pada kandungan nutrisi beberapa tanaman gulma tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap dominasi jenis-jenis gulma.This study aimed to find out the dominant type and nutrient composition of weeds in two locations with different altitudes. Weeds are perceived as plant pests because they decrease the maximum production result of the main plants. Weeds, though considered as disturbance, can be utilized as alternative feed ingredients. The methods used to determine the weeds’ dominance level are by using line intercept transect, and proximate analysis to analyze the weeds’ nutrient quality. The data were analyzed by t-test. The result of this research shows that grass weeds dominate the low and high altitude, with mean values of summed domination ratio as high as 54.8%, followed with forb weeds (44.7%), and legume (0.5%). The three most dominant species found in both locations are Eleusine indica, Ludwigia octovalvis, and Portulaca oleracea. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that altitude difference gave significant effect (P <0.05) to some nutrient of forb and grass weeds. The protein level of Eleusine indica in high altitude is higher than those in low altitude (P<0.05). In contrary, the dry matter level of Portulaca oleracea and Ludwigia octovalvis in low altitude is higher than those in high altitude (P<0.05), while crude fiber level of Portulaca oleracea and Ludwigia octovalvis in high altitude is higher than those in low altitude (P<0.05). Based on the study, it can be concluded that altitude differences affected the nutritional contents of some weed plants but had no effect on the dominance of weed species." @default.
