- W2787209487 abstract "Comparing to the toxicity level of some pesticides was conducted in this research by determining median lethal concentration value (LC-50) of Endosulfan , Fentoat, BPMC, Glyphosate, Sulphosate, 2.4 D pesticides. Toxicity test was employed in this research. Bandeng (Milkfish Chanos-chanos Forsk.) at its young life cycle (nener stage) was used as a sample organism. The experiment was conducted in two stages which were Determination of Critical Concentration Range (CCR) and Determination of LC-50 and LT-50 Values. Every stage used 20 sample organism in the 2 litter experimental jars. The experiment was carried out in the 25 deg. C water temperature, pH 7.2 and salinity 15 ppt. Different pesticides concentrations tested in the CCR stage were 0.01; 0.1; 1; 10 and 0 PPM (as a control), and in the LC-50 were 0.013; 0.026; 0.039; 0.052; 0.065; 0.078; and 0.091 PPM (for Endosulphane and Fentoat), 0.13; 0.26; 0.26; 0.39; 0.52; 0.65; 0.78 and 0.91 PPM (for BPMC), and 1.3; 2.6; 3.9; 5.2; 6.5; 7.8; and 9.1 PPM (for Glyphosphate, Sulphosate, 2.4 D). LC-50 value was determined at the 24th hour using Probit Analysis. The findings indicated that the LC-50 value at the 96th hour in each pesticides namely Endosulphane, Fentoat, BPMC, Glyphosphate, Sulfosate, and 2.4 D was 0.008; 0.020; 0.098; 0.922; 1.240; and 1.583 PPM, respectively. Therefore, the toxicity level of Endosulphane, Fentoat, BPMC, Glyphosate, Sulphosate and 2.4 D. Among other pesticides tested in this research, Endosulphane (Organochlorine insecticide) had the highest level of toxicity" @default.
