- W2789657652 abstract "Abstract The development of a sensitive sensing platform with multiple ions recognition ability in various environment is of great importance. In this paper, cysteine‐functionalized MoS 2 quantum dots (Cys‐MoS 2 QDs) with stable fluorescence are synthesized by a simple amidation reaction. The resultant Cys‐MoS 2 QDs show good dispersion in aqueous solution and blue emission (λ em = 428 nm) with a quantum yield (∼5%). The Cys‐MoS 2 QDs drastically have improved the surface chemical reactivities, which exhibit sensitive and selective “turn‐on” response to Al 3+ and “turn‐off” response to Fe 3+ simultaneously. Furthermore, we testify the feasibility of applying this fluorescent probe for real sample analysis through the detection of Al 3+ and Fe 3+ ions in lake water and tap water. Moreover, using HeLa cells as the model, the resultant nanosensor is demonstrated to monitor Al 3+ and Fe 3+ ions in living cells. Thus, resultant Cys‐MoS 2 QDs could be used as a “turn‐on” and “turn‐off” dual‐model photoluminescence sensing platform for effective determination of Al 3+ and Fe 3+ simultaneously in various environment." @default.
