- W2791957055 abstract "Monte Carlo simulation has been used to study the magnetic and thermodynamic properties of two-dimensional (2D) boron clusters in a longitudinal magnetic field. The effects of the anisotropies on the magnetization, the magnetic susceptibility, the blocking temperature and the magnetization plateaus of 2D boron clusters have been discussed in detail. It is found the total magnetization curve displays maximum behaviors within a certain range of anisotropy. Multiple magnetization plateaus have been found which dependents on the anisotropies. In addition, the effects of the anisotropies on the internal energy and the specific heat of the system have been studied. These results can be helpful to better understand the magnetic mechanism for 2D boron materials." @default.
